Double or Nothing by Calico. Fred/George, intensely, deliciously NC-17.

Ever read an NC-17 story that made your knees weak, eyes bug out and you realise that panting sound is you? Ever read a twincest story that's believable, real? Ever read a story where you feel just as helplessly pulled out to sea as the characters do? Ever read a story that's put you through endless emotional twists and plot turns? Ever read a story about the twins where they're irreverent and funny, and completely IC? Ever read a story about the twins where they really are different from each other, with their own minds and own personalities?

No, you're right. This is an impossible, perfect combination. It can't possibly exist anywhere. The Fates aren't that kind.

But it does. Read Calico's 'Double or Nothing.' Psst! [livejournal.com profile] switchknife, you have to add this to your slash archive if you haven't already!

I'm still jittery.

*Icarus is incoherent. Offers image of twins in the shower.* Calico's a beautiful sadist...

I suck at feedback.

And where is my mind today? Solidly in the gutter. Thank you, Calico. I have now read this story 2.5 times.

we are in so much trouble... *sighs*

This more than makes up for the disappointment when I discovered the nasty-nasty Metro article invented a Harry/Ron scene and invented a quote. Alack and alas, I thought a new Harry/Ron story had been uploaded and was looking forward to watching Ron give head. Pretty funny though, isn't it? There were so many NC-17 stories to choose from, so many quotes, and they decided to make one up. The story they mention is actually D/S Het with a slightly non-con edge. Though I really don't buy Hermione as a submissive at all.

I stumbled upon this just yesterday - it was recc'ed on this site (http://ontheroad.hispeed.com/lw/hp/recs.htm) - and my reaction was the same as yours. I was at work, glued to the screen and practically trembling - resentful as all hell when a stupid client dared to call me while I was trying to read! Unbelievable stuff here. Gah.

Ooo! Thank you! Did you read the Fred/George/Hermione story? Gently sensual. I prefer more graphic sex mind you, but it's well done, and the magic was also quite HP.

Which story is this? Do you mean Halrloprillalar's Summer Thing? If so I totally agree. I tend to prefer more graphic sex too, but occasionally I'll make an exception . . . ;)

Yep. The atmosphere is just right. I suspect the twins are going to show up in a lot of PWPs now. Heh.

That is so okay by me. In lots of Harry/whomever stories I've read, there's a brief reference or two indicating that Harry learned about m/m sex from Fred or George - maybe now we'll start getting some details, or seeing stories in which Harry/Fred&George is the main pairing. I think that could be my new kink . . . ;

I've never encountered Calico before, but I'm inclined to agree.

NnnghOMFGFUCK!!#&*^! Guh... can't... be... coherent... That 'shiny lace' and 'tasted of hot chips and sleepy sulky boy' and GUH! This was... fuck, like dying, man, only I went to heaven. (Which would never happen, anyway, but it was good to know what it would feel like.) This thing made my chest HURT, it was so hot. HOT!

*mumbles* Gah... Unfortunately HPR doesn't count F/G as rareslash! Damn it, I want to take this story and frame it and lick it everyday!

Don't be silly - I mean your other archive. If this isn't the, er, cream of the crop of Twincest stories, I don't know what is.

THAT'S a given! This is. The. Hottest. Thing. Ever. :)

Heheh... yes, I am going to add this to 'Cream' next update, but I really thought you meant HPR when you said 'archive'! I mean... well, my recs site isn't an archive, quite. (Although it was interesting that I actually got an e-mail from one person asking me to archive their work there, which was... odd.)

Off to reread DoN now.

For the... *glances at watch* third time in as many hours.

Ah, people (like myself) don't recognise that you are linking to stories off-site. Which is absurd, come to think of it, because it's pretty obvious.

I'm re-reading it now. I looked for more of Calico's work, but it seems she mostly writes in other fandoms.

Ah, well. Back to the boys.

I agree. It's such a waste of talent. :P

Ah, well. Back to the boys.

Quite. *returns for fifth re-read*

Wow... that story was amazing... I've been checking out the journals of the people who posted in either Cassie's or Rhysenn's journals, and I have to say, of all the stories I've found, that one was the best... I love you for having that link! :)

You're welcome. Credit where credit is due: I discovered this in [livejournal.com profile] kitsune13's journal - she's starting a twins archive and was looking for recommendations.

It's hard to find twincest that's good. I never even dreamed I'd find something great. You might want to try [livejournal.com profile] switchknife's recommendation site. She has a yen for the angst, but pretty much everything I've ever found there was outstanding.
