I. Hate. Group projects.

Did I mention that? I think I did at some point.

Time wasted: 3:38 - 7:00pm.

Drove to the school in the rain. Showed up (six minutes late) and the person I was supposed to meet wasn't there. I asked around. Nope, no one had been there.

Went to the library. Sure enough, there was the apologetic email cancelling.

Hung around at the library till 5pm, when it closed. wildernessguru was supposed to pick me up at 5.

Waited. In the rain. 5:06... 5:11... still no WG. I wasn't wearing the right shoes for stomping around in the rain.

5:14... I gave up. Tip-toed around puddles to catch the bus, muttering under my breath.

At 5:24 I spotted the back end of WG's car scooting up the street to pick me up. Whistled.

I've never seen a car slink before, but if WG had driven any more sheepishly it would have had its tail between its legs. I could've gotten my hair cut today.

Did I mention I hate group projects? They're all like this.

Stand by for porn. Because right now? I need porn.

OY! WORD to the suckiness of group projects! I find myself falling into both the category of slackass freeloader and 'the girl who takes over and does it all herself because omg nobody else gets it right anyway' XD

I swear, that happens every single time. My roommate has to deal with the same shit with her project members, she came back to school early instead of staying with her dad and though another girl claimed to have emailed her telling her the meeting was cancelled... nothing.

And that is the reason why I always snatch the most obscure project from the project list, so I can be reasonably sure nobody else is interested in it, instead of fighting for a place for some of the most popular topics. Sometimes it pays to be able to interest myself in almost anything. :)

Oh indeed! Group projects suck. Unless you are lucky and are in a group with people you know/friends. But when you're not it's always lazy ass people who have you do all the work but take the credit nevertheless! *sigh*
