icarusI haven't been spending my good days in front of the computer, so you guys mostly get to listen to me whine. How about some non-whining?
I meant to write this up on Wednesday but never found the time (something about staying up all night reading ponderous texts...). Wednesday is what school should be like.

h_oserheidi kicked back and riffed about intertextual studies, Jamaica Kincaid's Lucy, linguistics, post-colonialism, post-modernism, asking questions, bouncing ideas around like a beach ball.
Afterwards I thought, all we needed was some pot for the experience to be complete.
Music is like this when it's going well. Or a good story that's decided to cooperate.
The teacher sighed as we packed up our gear, realizing that we were late to places we had to be: "I wish class could be like that."
