I haven't been spending my good days in front of the computer, so you guys mostly get to listen to me whine. How about some non-whining?

I meant to write this up on Wednesday but never found the time (something about staying up all night reading ponderous texts...). Wednesday is what school should be like.

After class, the professor, myself, and h_oserheidi kicked back and riffed about intertextual studies, Jamaica Kincaid's Lucy, linguistics, post-colonialism, post-modernism, asking questions, bouncing ideas around like a beach ball.

Afterwards I thought, all we needed was some pot for the experience to be complete.

Music is like this when it's going well. Or a good story that's decided to cooperate.

The teacher sighed as we packed up our gear, realizing that we were late to places we had to be: "I wish class could be like that."
