Student Whining.
Jul. 5th, 2006 09:28 amIt's time for another exciting edition of...
School Whining!
(It's been so long. I know you've missed it.)
In today's exciting episode, Icarus wrestles a deadly gorgon (also known as student aid), has her research hopes dashed by a dashing yet overburdened professor ("Fie! Thou be-est not a Ph.D. candidate! Get thee gone, for my time is booked for fortnights into the forseeable future!"), and is trapped between the Prerequisite Only Offered In The Summer while lured by the Siren Call of $18-Per-Hour Temp Work.
Will she survive? Will she throw herself out a window in frustration?
Stay tuned.

Oh look! The student aid has grown several more heads, all asking for financial documents yesterday. *draws my vorpal blade*

It'll prepare me for grad-school intensity. *crosses fingers that I can do well with this*
