He has sleek-smooth skin, creamy pale, and long dish-water blond hair, wet and sprawling across the pillow.

A big guy, tall, he has the elegant bone structure of a siamese cat, curled on his side gracefully, delicate. His breath deepens as I trail fingertips down his fine shoulders, along the dip of his waist, around to cup the round curve of his ass outlined by cotton sheets. A breath of summer wind comes in through the window, and the air is amber with sunset. It's early, but he has an early day tomorrow. He doesn't stir.

As I snuggle down into my pillow next to him, I think what a privilege it is for anyone to fall asleep beside their lover.
