icarusThere's an ice cream social going on at our building right now. Live jazz, elegant tablecloths in the Atrium, goooooood ice cream sundae's you build yourself. The janitorial staff looks like they're having fun serving. I got to spoon on my own chocolate fudge... I held the spoon way high and let the fudge twirl around the peak of the ice cream, following the crannies and valleys, outlined the dish in chocolate...
... behind me, someone cleared his throat.
Oopsy.
"Were you writing your name?" The man in the business suit grins.
"I was playing." I beam. "Some things you shouldn't give up when you're nine."
I could see he was still smiling after he dished up his own fudge.
