If you had me under your command and could make me write anything, regardless of whether or not I know the fandom or if anybody even writes fic in that fandom and no matter how crack-addled it might be, what would you love to see me write?

No promises, but I'm curious, with itchy fingers.

And, great news: Supernatural has definitively been picked up for a third season. I knew already, but it's good to have official confirmation. I'm kicked back in my easy chair now that my back-up fandom is secure. All I have to worry about at this point is SGA. Now back to preparing that Ambedkar presentation.

And for that wtf effect, a three way crossover between Once Upon a Time in Mexico, The Fast and the Furious and Point Break, post all three movies.

Heh. I'll let you in on the secret to "Last Port Of Call." Before the hullabaloo, I posted two stories at the same time: "Last Port Of Call" and "About Ten Days Before The Wraith Attack."

They had the same premise. They had the same dialogue. They both were posted for the virgin challenge on sga_flashfic. People who loved "About Ten Days..." hated "Last Port Of Call."

What I never told anyone was that "About Ten Days..." and "Last Port Of Call" were the exact same story. One was the LP. The other was the retrospective, how we change things in our mind when we know how they've come out. When I initially posted, I was going to keep going with "Last Port Of Call" and slowly see if anyone noticed. (One person was a little suspicious right away. I thought the dialogue being the same was a dead giveaway.)

Point Break looks like great material for slash. I have an unfinished Cyteen Justin/Grant fic hidden away in my fic folders somewhere.

hey, you should know better by now to ask me this (remember Lorne/Heitmeyer? lol!) and um...yah that uh, John & Rodney fic I was supposed to be doing...well...I got some opening scenes but couldn't get much further. My muse apparently refuses to cooperate in that sense. Ah geesh...who knows, maybe the muses will whack me with it one day when I least expect it.

It's tempting for me to try this 'challenge', but honestly, I'm a bit nervous if I could pull it off.

Well, for wish fulfillment I'd probably have you revisit the settings of "Last Port of Call" and "Tanlines & Dogtags" to write sequel stories. (And I've by no means given up on seeing the latter!)

But if you want something newish, I'd say a Wonderfalls/Supernatural crossover where Dean and Sam come to Niagara Falls to investigate some weird occurence.

My God, can you imagine the previously uncharted depths of sarcasm that would result from Dean Winchester and Jaye Tyler being in the same bar?

Actually, I think that story's already been written. The Niagara part at least. Dazzleland (see most recent SPN rec) takes place at the American falls.
