Okay, I've heard enough complaints. All my stuff is now currently on my 'slapped-together' website.

Icarus' Web Page

Now, no more complaints about my stuff being scattered everywhere.

round of applause

Great, now I don't have to go a-searching :-).

My website is an utter shambles tonight, apparently. So I'm told. It looks fine and dandy to me, but that's just a malicious illusion.

And I'm not gonna worry about it tonight, because I'm just toooo tired.

ps: sorry for the delay in archiving part 2 - I will definitely pull my finger out and give it a shot tomorrow night. Providing I don't crash out like a light again like I did tonight :-( .

Way cool. Hey, could you change the name back to 'Drunken Domesticity'? One should never let someone who doesn't like the story pick out the title....

Ahhh! You've done twincest! And rather nicely, too! Mmmmmm. :-D

Twincest -

I was so heartily sick of Angst!Twincest. I mean, some of it's well-done, but I couldn't get over how many people wrote this harsh, miserable stories about the Twins. Aren't they fun? Irreverent? Funny? Playful?

I gave up, and wrote my own. Though Koanju has a good one about chocolate that's right in keeping with that Tongue-in-Cheek Cheeky-Twins tone.

And Koanju has a website, too. *nods*

Well, I'm going to complain a little more. (Ok, I wasn't one of the original complainers, but I was certainly thinking about complaining.)

Why don't you put Primer up on your own page? Your schnoogle link is only good for the first 9 parts, and even Snitchfiction is behind the times, too. I'd like to link to it on my recs page, but I'd like to link to the mostest bestest completest version.

Primer to the Dark Arts

I was afraid this was going to be a problem.

I will redo Primer to the Dark Arts on the with a link to each chapter.

Fiction Alley actually does have the most complete, beta'd version. Although the chapters are numbered to nine, that's really chapters 1-19. They made me combine chapters, because many of my chapters were borderline in length.

Actually

From: [identity profile] icarusancalion.livejournal.com
Actually, Schnoogle is up to date. The chapters are just numbered differently. Because of Schnoogle's file-length requirements, I had to combine chapters. So on Schnoogle, chapter nine is really chapter eighteen and nineteen combined. Schnoogle is 'P-rated' however, and doesn't have the NC-17 versions of The Book of Eros and Midnight.

But - your wish is my command. I've added links to each chapter to my webpage, as per your request. Updated Page (http://home.earthlink.net/~dinkbird/_wsn/page4.html) and I have a listing of the chapters that haven't been Beta'd yet, so you can see where we are in the story so far. CLS is working on Eureka, Fools' Victory, and I just sent her Defence Against the Dark Arts and A Crash Course in Dark Magic yesterday. Eureka!'s basically done, but she's called for a conceptual rewrite of a scene in Fool's Victory. I'm off to do that now.

Snitchfiction is not accepting any uploads right now, so I've been unable to update it there. InkStained Fingers does have all the chapters (in the original numbering) and that's where I've linked.

Isis, I'm working on a really kinky follow-up to my Ron/Draco. Would you be interested in Betaing?

And I meant to ask --- what's up with Snitchfiction? I'd noticed the lack of new stories but didn't know why this was happening.

Snitchfiction

Snitchfiction has been promising some kind of upgrade since January. It involves a bunch of restructuring, switching things around. They'll be back. The old stories can still be read online, but the story upload has been disabled for the time being. I've been posting at Ink-Stained Fingers in the meantime Here. (http://inkstain.slashcity.net)

What would be great would be if they could effectively filter the slash and the het. I'd check snitchfiction alost everyday for updates, and the site would go through periods of having great stories and then, as if the same group of people heard about it and were all archiving at once, there'd be this wave of Harry/Ginny, Hermione/Ron, etc. ... ew.

Don't know

I don't know what they plan to do. It was pretty vague, couched in that 'but really this is going to be best for everyone' kind of language that always tells me I'm not gonna like it. I suspect, since Snitchfiction and RS.org are in pretty close contact, that they will have some system to filter NC-17 content. Possibly a password. So far, Snitch is the only major archive that still has NC-17 stories readily available.
