Good morning. Growls....
Aug. 1st, 2007 07:32 amIs it a man thing, or is he just self-important and damned inconsiderate?
I went to bed at a little before 3 a.m.
wildernessguru wakes up at 4:15 a.m. for work. This is usually not a problem because there is only one thing guaranteed to jerk me awake:
Yell, "I need to turn on the lights!"
And flash the overhead lights in my face.
Now if you only do this once, I'll go right back to sleep. However, if you do three or four times while snarling "I'm late!" (FLASH!) and "Where are my keys?!" (FLASH!) and "I can't find my jeans!" (FLASH!), I will wake up.
And I won't be very pleasant.
Nor will I help you find your keys.
I've only had three hours of sleep but I'm wide awake now.

Date: 2007-08-01 04:34 pm (UTC)If it's a daily/weekly occurrence, you might want to put some thought into tweaking his evening routine to help prevent it. If it's a rare occurrence, go ahead and be grouchy till about noon or so, and then let it go. Or, you know, demand reparations, such as a massage, when he comes back. :)
