Good morning. Growls....

Is it a man thing, or is he just self-important and damned inconsiderate?

I went to bed at a little before 3 a.m. wildernessguru wakes up at 4:15 a.m. for work. This is usually not a problem because there is only one thing guaranteed to jerk me awake:

Yell, "I need to turn on the lights!"

And flash the overhead lights in my face.

Now if you only do this once, I'll go right back to sleep. However, if you do three or four times while snarling "I'm late!" (FLASH!) and "Where are my keys?!" (FLASH!) and "I can't find my jeans!" (FLASH!), I will wake up.

And I won't be very pleasant.

Nor will I help you find your keys.

I've only had three hours of sleep but I'm wide awake now.

I think it's more inconsiderate than manly.

Because it's something I'm guilty of :(

My husband's a night owl, I'm a morning person, and more often than I'd like to admit, in the morning when I need to get ready for work...

I'm afraid I got very little done today as a result. Totally fuzzed on lack of sleep. Then fell asleep in the morning, whole day got screwed up.

He made up for it by buying pizza, Canada Dry, and promising to listen to me read him part of one of my fics.
