Is it a man thing, or is he just self-important and damned inconsiderate?

I went to bed at a little before 3 a.m. wildernessguru wakes up at 4:15 a.m. for work. This is usually not a problem because there is only one thing guaranteed to jerk me awake:

Yell, "I need to turn on the lights!"

And flash the overhead lights in my face.

Now if you only do this once, I'll go right back to sleep. However, if you do three or four times while snarling "I'm late!" (FLASH!) and "Where are my keys?!" (FLASH!) and "I can't find my jeans!" (FLASH!), I will wake up.

And I won't be very pleasant.

Nor will I help you find your keys.

I've only had three hours of sleep but I'm wide awake now.

Well, I was the last person to handle his keys. But what happened is that he had put them in his back pocket already (instead of his front pocket where he usually carries them) and then forgot he'd picked them up. He's been staying up too late this last week.
