*Icarus clears throat.* I have been remiss. Up until this time, although I have long admired [livejournal.com profile] mctabby's talented and effective (and controlled!) use of first person, I have despised Julius Marvolo too much to read Two Worlds and In Between.

But now I have read it, and I wish I'd read it sooner.

This story is brilliant, magical, powerful. Compelling. Unlike many stories in the HP fandom, it doesn't ignore magic, but keeps magic (and issues surrounding its use) as the centerpiece of a fascinatingly complex game of power. I'm grateful that I waited this long however, because I didn't have to wait for chapter four, by far my favourite chapter so far.

I'm at once satiated, and hungry for more.

EDIT: for Typo.

Oh, I worked it out because I was reading it at the time, someone told me it was "better than book 5" or an "alternative to book 5" -.-* I guess it's cause they ship H/Hr. But I decided not to say anything.

Oh, brilliant. Yay, reading material.
