The computer has been taken away from me this evening.

Been spending too much time online so wildernessguru took the computer away.

But I'm allowed one post! (Because it's about him. Partially.) What did he do today? Buy Noam Chomsky books.

Conversation this evening: "I should buy some assault rifles in case there's another ban. If there is I can sell them for thousands." I started cracking up. "We can put them under the bed. What's so funny?"

Then he explained that under the ban it was legal to sell assault rifles. You just couldn't own them. "If I bought them back in the 80s I'd have fifty thousand dollars by now."

He suggested we buy the civilian version of the P-90. "It's expensive, but it would be cool!"

So. My boyfriend reads Noam Chomsky and is going to stockpile assault rifles under the bed. What does your boyfriend do?

Well, it was kind of geeky that WG, as an SG-1 fan, wanted a P-90. I was less interested when I learned they don't look like the ones on the show. Apparently those short are automatically classified as concealed weapons, so you have to be military to carry them.

Too bad.
