First Signs of Magic: Severus Snape -- stolen here Didn't renem this one either

I've taken screencaps, and am in the process of contacting the web admin. Please review the stories and tell the plagiarist to take them down. The plagiarist needs to know that she has been caught, and very quickly. These were posted today. A quick response will help convince the plagiarist that this is something she can't get away with. No need for bitter anger. Firmness is more important.

ETA: I've heard from the webadmin at hpfandom.net (within less than half an hour). She recognizes the stories, read them when they came out, and is contacting the site owner to either have them or the author removed.

Well. This is one way to find one of the few archives I haven't posted to. Frankly, this is the main reason why I post everywhere.

So, I've been meaning to tell you the last time that happened about a screen capture utility that can capture an entire page, no matter how many screens it spans to. It's called FastStone Capture and you can find the last freeware version (v5.3) here (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=775). (Just don't go to the original site to d/l, the version there might be the latest, but it's shareware and will stop working at a point.) It's portable and very light, my favorite tool at work when I need to leave unattended users with temp admin rights. I snap a few shots of their installation and... ok, TMI.

Yes, thank you. I'll download it later tonight. I'd like to download it now, but I'm afraid that I have two papers to write and a ton of Sanskrit homework. The best I can do at the moment is contact the webadmins. This plagiarist has wasted an entire morning of my time, time that I can't afford.

The webadmin at hpfandom.net has been great. They've already taken down the story. SilverSnitch might be a little slower.

I'm just wondering where else WhereTheGobblinsGo might have plagiarised this fic. I'm supposed to be writing a paper today, getting caught up on Sanskrit, and doing a rough draft of a Rhetorical paper. I don't have time for this.

Wacky. Some people have way more time than I do.

If they need something to do, I have a pile of dishes that need to be done, laundry to be brought upstairs, a couple of papers and a ton of Sanskrit to catch up on. They can feed the cat, too. Update my website, help me with the redesign of the art pages, help me get caught up on reviews, upload music for Out Of Bounds -- honest, I could put them to work.

Hey, there's always a silver lining. I feel tired of plagiarists and plagiarism today. This isn't the first time I've been plagiarised. I am surprised that the plagiarist picked such popular stories.

Out Of Bounds is in park, with the motor on, rumbling away. Send me good vibes to finish my homework quickly today so I can do some more writing tonight. :)
