Y'all should comment with things that you think people reading thisLJ ought to know about me. If you were describing my LJ to someone whowas trying to decide whether to read it, what would you say?
Hahah...I think it would only be a warning if people are looking to be offended.
I would say, be prepared to encounter: Domestic life w/ unmarried partner, often entertaining and quirky School troubles and vexations (though less so recently) Lots of talk about reading and writing, often of the smutty variety and The occasional glimpse into the world of Eastern religions
Fanfic-- used to be mostly Harry Potter, now is mostly SGA. Tips on writing. Sometimes information on swords or other vaguely military-related issues. Adoration of WG. Notes on schoolwork, RL, and other current events.
wonderful insights on daily life that will make you cackle with glee (at least they do, me) lots and lots of man-sex. you better have an open mind (and actually, i accredit the birth of my super-open mindedness, to you, icarus. reading "primer" opened my eyes to so many things. and i just began welcoming things. okay, ) end parantheses, cause it's gonna be a bit longer, my thank you, that is. i hated snape. and then i read one randomly. and it squicked me. but i liked that. so i found yours on schnoogle, read it. and then devoured all your writings. twincest? gross... but then i read other twincests...and my judgement just began to drop away. how could i judge anyone for something i don't really understand? i would never be interested in my older brothers like that. and i hope my boyfriend, who is a boy/girl twin, is never interested in his sister like that. but for other people? if it works for them, why not? my best friend, said that if her brother wasn't her brother, he'd be the perfect man for her. and at first hear, that sounds gross. but it really isn't. so my eyes just began to open wider and wider, and with them, my mind. i'm open to just about anything now. not for myself, specifically, but for the idea of it. i also learned, that a lot of ideas are good in theory. when they're in ideal situations. if we lived in a culture that didn't have a taboo on incest, then those people would get along great. if they were aware of their different relationships with eachother, and were okay with them, awesome. i love reading your entries on eastern religions, because i honestly know nothing about them. and you talk about them in a familiar way, that makes me intrigued, instead of put off because i have no idea what you're talking about. i love hearing about wildernessguru, and the quirks of your everyday life. and i really do love how you call it sanskritsanskritsanskrit. if someone is looking for a quirky, down to earth someone, to read about their life and interests, then yeah, i'd recommend your journal. you've helped me grow up in so many ways. so, in two words, thank you :)
