I loved it! John is quite the bad boy, seducing Rodney in the "back seat" of his "ride", completed with power rock. Then, they got caught!!! Very saucy, hot little romp.

Oh yeah. This John is deadly hot, and so is Rodney. I remember reading this, and the image of John cranking the music while flying aggressively stuck with me. This is beautifully written, and hot. I love their banter here, too. The bad pickup lines, along with Rodney's reaction, are perfectly *them*, hee. What a treat to read this today!

Thanks! John uses bad pick-up lines just to annoy Rodney. I mean, he uses them anyway because he can get away with them, but once it turned out to irritate Rodney, he started to make them even more corny.

John is a little more patient than Rodney (his military background means that he's been interrupted many times) so, yes, he's able to enjoy the evil torment of Chuck's timing too.

I wildly *love* that image: music blasting and John zooming around, and the lovely groping on the puddlejumper floor. Of course John's got a dirt bike: I would be shocked if he *didn't*.

Now we need a dirt bike AU ficlet -- or dirt bike Earth Visit ficlet. John roaring up in a spray of dirt and dust as the SGC calls him back. They had to come get him because he's not wearing his cell (or couldn't hear it). I can just see Colonel O'Neill standing there calmly as the dirt wafts away like smoke. John pulls of the helmet and goggles, leaving a racoon-mask clear area around his eyes, his hair lighter from the grime.

O'Neill rocks back on his heels. "You know, on my time off I get a beer and watch a game. On TV."

"Except today, apparently," John says.

"Except today. But that's not my fault."

"Who do I blame then?"

O'Neill takes a breath through his teeth. "A potential Goa'uld-Wraith alliance?"

"That sounds unlikely."

"Funny. That's what I said. But the SGC, they kept calling me back. They can be persistent like that."

John looks around at the empty desert, not a road or car in sight. "I can tell."

O'Neill follows his gaze. "Yes. This being an emergency and all..."

The Daedalus beam envelopes them, bathes them in white light, and they're beamed away.

A moment later, the beam envelopes John's bike and it vanishes too. It seems he had something to say about leaving it behind.
