More Than One Way To Win

Tom somehow managed to look cool and elegant as he kneeled at his feet, his head dipped and the zipper slowly pulled…

Stop! Harry woke, sat up straight in bed, panting and sweaty. The button to his pyjamas was open.

"There are more ways than one to win, Harry."

His skin was so smooth, so soft against Harry's cheek. Harry slowly tasted the dewy firm curve of his stomach, shaped the hollow dip in the center. The hand on his head guided him inexorably down…

No, Harry whispered. Stop. And he woke, dizzy and frightened. Unsurprised that his pyjama top was gone.

Tom was spread on his hands and knees. Bars held him, ankle to ankle, wrist to wrist. He could neither open his legs further nor close them.

This wasn't so bad. This was okay. With the whip in his hand, he struck. And struck again.

"You're hurting me, Harry." Tom said it in a mild, unconcerned voice.

Shocked, Harry stopped.

Tom glanced back at him, his eyes unreadable. "Now who do you think is in control?"

Yeah. Wow. I wanted to finish one project before I started the next, you know? Something about writing these is helping me knuckle down and focus... though, truth be told, when I put out the invitation for drabbles, I expected, oh, seven or so? Not twenty. *Icarus looks slightly bug-eyed.*

Now that I've got them down to the seven or so left to so it seems more manageable. I always appreciated the drabble/story Cybele wrote for me, so I really want to do everyone's request.

Ohhh, this is very well done. Very creepy. I love how absolutely condensed this is, the images coming on sudden, and strong. We're jolted from one disjointed image to the next with little to bring them into a cohesive whole except the further removal of Harry's pjyamas, the constant presence of Tom, and the repition of Tom's statement that "There are more ways than one to win, Harry." Then the near-reptition of "This wasn't so bad. This was okay," calms the reader perfectly so that the last line hits with extra force.

Gah.

Well that certainly screwed with my mind.... o_0* (which means that I absolutely adored it). Pardon me for sounding like a 14 year old fangirl but... XD that was so cool.

The reality switching was something I didn't expect, and it totally made the drabble. The fact that it was really concise and didn't try to go over the top with details gave it really nice pacing. I'm usually one for being long-winded in drabbles, so it's nice for me to read something so well organized and.. well, to use a phrase used occasionally to describe tasty guitar solos - you breathed wonderfully in that last number.

Thanks for the link, I'll be adding it in addition to the to your homepage. I'm no expert with HTML either, but I just thought that if you are using an automatic code generator like FrontPage you might want to look at the code. I've heard the code those programs produce may be somewhat crappy. I briefly studied Computer Science and the teacher told us that it's best to clean the code manually. I never used a code generator so I don't know for sure what the code is like.
