Podcasting for school.

My verbal drills are to be sent to my professor via mp3 recording. This is what happens when your professor is from India. All my Indian professors love technology.

If I were to -- hypothetically speaking -- record some podfic while Audacity's open anyway, what stories should I record?

Aha, that's two votes for Traces Through Time.

Have you listened to my voice from the HP fic First Signs of Magic: Hermione Granger (http://jinjurly.com/audfiles/firsts igns.zip)? I'm not sure a high voice like mine could pull off most of my fics.

I don't think the impact of a story is in the voice itself, more in things like accent and inflection. You could pull off the stories of yours that I've read so far just fine, if only you took a little more time. You're going so fast in places I barely understand what you're saying. Then again, I'm handicapped. *coughs*

Ooo, this is tough. I guess it would depend on how long of a fic you want to record. My votes would be 'Traces through time', 'Coming attractions', 'In the spotlight', or 'The wildly circling moon'.

(And gee, I had to go through a bunch of your fic to make this list - the sacrifices I make. :) )

Ah, that's two votes for Traces Through Time.

Hmm. Wildly Circling Moon? Should we have the music for it? (Heh. I couldn't play it during during the reading, but opening and perhaps including it at the end? What do you think?)

Ooooooo, music = YES! That would be *really* nifty.

FWIW, I think you have a lovely reading voice, and I think you could pull of your fics just fine. I mean, we have people with English accents reading stories that take place on the Massachusetts coast, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. :)

Personally, I'd love to hear The Other Man, Sonic Boom, or Shared Secrets.
Those 3 are my absolute favorites of yours.

Oooo. Maybe I could even get WG to read Sonic Boom.

I think I could record The Other Man. I don't doubt I could pull off Sarah's voice.

I believe you HAVE to be the one who reads The Other Man.
That Sarah, as you've created her in the one short story, has become practically canon for me.

I know, I've gone on and on before about how much I love The Other Man. So I will refrain from doing it again.

But I think it would be spectacular if you podcasted it.
