Er. Yeah. We watch a lot of movies around here. Most of these were picked out by [livejournal.com profile] wildernessguru. I give a nod to his good taste.

He, you haven't seen Titanic either. It's one of my life's ambitions to die without having seen that movie.

I really recommend The Incredibles. It's awesome, particularly Edna Mode.

And of course, my alltime favorite, Victor/Victoria is not on the list. *grump*

I can't say I've completely avoided that movie, because somewhere, I've seen images of it sinking. I think WG watched it one night. But I'll be happy to never see it. *g*

Hey, they have This Is Spinal Tap and not Clerks? It's a travesty.

(Love Victor/Victoria. But it's another one that was on TV at an inconvenient time and I missed most of it.)

I've seen bit's an pieces of Titanic, too. They tend to show it around christmas here, which I think is kinda weird. I adore Kate Winslet and from a purely physical point of view Billy Zane turns my crank like whoa but with that insane hype and craziness about "Leo" when it came out, not watching it in whole became sort of a thing of priciple. Besides, I already know what happens, the bloody ship sinks.

Should you ever get around to renting Victor/Victoria, try watching it with the commentary by Blake Edwards and Julie Andrews. Their love and glee for that movie is just adorable.

I thought I was the only one.

I feel dimly proud that I've never seen it, although it's really just rebellion against the hype and the fact that I don't like disaster movies anyway.

I wholeheartedly approve, though I do think that having sat through it will provide justification should I ever cross paths with Leonardo DiCaprio and feel the irresistable urge to knock him unconscious and thereby waste several hours of his life.

What is truly embarrassing is that as I look at the list, I realize that I own DVDs of an awful lot of them... and yet I've never seen the damned movies. The DVDs are still sealed in plastic!

I second the motion that you will love the Incredibles. It's incredible, as advertised!!!

Well, TV is entertainment. You're under no obligation to watch any of them.

I'm a bit stunned that one of the Evil Dead movies made the list. An Evil Dead movie as one of the best 100 of the past 25 years? Just . . . seriously?

Weeelllll... it is Entertainment Weekly. Not exactly a top critic's choice. More like pop critic's choice.

You haven't seen Titanic?!?! You lucky bastard. That's 3 hours of my life I will never get back. I think I was a senior in high school when that piece of dreck came out, and if I remember correctly, I was the only girl on my floor who didn't get it for Christmas freshman year of college. Lucky! Gol!

I resisted it because of the hype, because critics said they couldn't wait for the ship to sink, and because I always thought the Titanic was a sad story and I'm not too fond of disaster films anyway.
