Okay, the new version of Firefox keeps crashing. It resulted in a lost scene for Out Of Bounds (which doesn't seem to be in my c:/windows/temp folder).
That's unacceptable.
Does anyone know how to uninstall Firefox and put in the older version? The new version crashes daily and six times on Saturday.

Date: 2008-07-17 05:56 am (UTC)Not sure about installing the old version, but you can get instructions to uninstall here (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstall_firefox). I don't know if you would lose your bookmarks though...

Date: 2008-07-17 06:04 am (UTC)I'm not having any trouble with FF3 (I have it on my pathetic home comp, but keep forgetting to DL it on my robust work one), but also wonder if whatever the conflict is for you (I'd guess there's some sort of drama between it and something else on your machine, but I don't know how to troubleshoot that very well) is addressed by the update (3.0.1) that just notified me of itself half an hour ago.
So, if you can't make FF2 reinstall, that might be another thought?

Install the new version is a good advice.
If it didn't works to you either, and yet you want to go back to FF2,
Hope it works fine!
