And that is why I love dolphins.

They're also the only other mammals besides humans who have sex for pleasure as well as reproduction purposes. Go dolphins!

Not exactly. Bonobo chimpanzees have sex for non-reproductive reasons. Not necessarily pleasure, but they have sex as a way of greeting each other, shows of dominance, and conflict resolution (i.e. make-up sex!) And not just intercourse either -- lots of genital contact of ALL types going on. They're like natures very own smutty fanfiction!

Yeah, but I meant that dolphins are like humans in that a couple of dolphins will just go off to have sex because they can, like people do, not as a way of greeting/dominance/whatever.
