It had a certain je-ne-sais-qua Icarusity about it...I think the attention to detail, the insights into John's head, reminded me of you, and you said it was short and hot, and I was positive it was slash. (Honestly, at first I read the leg-shaving scene and thought of "Sex, Drugs and Death Eater Rock," and then did a mental, "Wait a minute...")

I took advantage of the fact that virtually none of the SGA readers would have read Death Eater Rock.

The day the story was due I sat there staring at a half-written, very silly MPreg fic that wasn't going to be finished in time. And thought, "She asked for crossdressing, too, right?" And then cheated, cheated, cheated.

I don't consider it cheating--this is very much its own story, especially with this version of John in the heart of it.

That's true. I have a Het story on the back burner -- entirely with OC women, too -- that I expect no one to read. *chuckles*

I've been really lazy this year, or maybe busy, but anyway, I mostly just waited for the reveal and started reading then.
