I've been telling myself the same thing! A year ago, it was all HP, now I'm reading in... 6 fandoms. And S1 of Battlestar Galactica is waiting for me at the library. Though I hear it's on it's last season as well. :/

Btw, all your posts on Merlin convinced me to watch it over the holidays. The amount of cheesy they can cramp into an episode still boggles but I LOVE IT!.

You can borrow my favorite trick. I have roving icons. I save them to a nice tidy folder and whip out the ones I want when my tastes change! Of course, the hassle of changing them makes me leave the same ones up way longer than I plan...and the hassle of changing them makes me gnash my teeth and invent colorful phrases I hope Chloe never copies...of course the hassle...

...never mind. Perhaps when you're done with school you can get a paid account???

I'm up to the beginning of season three. No ships yet. Thought the first ep of Torchwood was dull (but love Harkness) so I'm saving that for when I run out of everything else.

I love Merlin. It's pure milk chocolate-filled deliciousness.

The first whole season of Torchwood actually has got PROBLEMS, like whoa, but it's worth it for an SGA-like WTF factor (and an SGA-like fandom of fixit fics). The second season gets better, until, um, it doesn't.

So you just started with Martha! I liked Martha more than Rose, but not as much as Jack or Donna. And the ending of that season is fantastic. ::giggles in vicarious anticipation::

I've just joined the eps comm because we've reached the point where we need to download more. I like Martha. Rose was annoying in the finale of season one and I struggled not to hold that against here.

I can't wait for more.

Lots of people seems to be finding the Whoniverse, whether the good doctor or TW. (Those who weren't already on the wagon). It's whimsical and yet sometimes edgy. It's fun! It won't break your heart (oh, JOHN! :( It seems inevitable...kind of like Merlin.

I don't think I would. Forensic realities, murder mysteries -- I've never written anything like that. I don't think it's what I'd do well. I'd find the research material very sad and depressing.

Even though I love the show, I don't write much SPN fanfic largely because I don't enjoy writing horror. I've written a few because I do like magic. But there's not much magic in forensics. *g*

Temple of Law is one I'm proud of, and it got recc'd on crack_impala (given it was my first full-length SPN fic in that active fandom, I am very pleased). Unconditional is porn and humor and, er, brotherly love.

I only have SGA icons and thinking of branching out and collecting others for the items listed above.

My shopping list is growing for icons. And I LOVE Dr. Who if not for my Sci-Fi obsessed co-worker I would have missed out on the good Doctor. She had seasons one thru three and I watched them all and managed to catch season 4 and in my opinion season 4 was the best so far.
