Jazz in the park. It sounds so cool when there isn't actual jazz.

I guess the podfic idea is on hold -- there's jazz in the park all day today. I don't want the unintentional soundtrack.

The best part is the fact that there's an ice cream truck driving by at the same time. Ha. If these guys were real jazz musicians they'd incorporate the ice cream truck music into their improv.

Think if I paid the ice cream truck a hundred bucks, he'd circle the jazz concert for the next hour? *g*

I kind of liked street musicians until I started working at a place where they flock outside of our windows all day long. And I discovered that 1) most buskers can't play for shit 2) their repertoar usually consists of two songs.

And after three hours of off-key My way on a saxophone, my thoughts usually go to nuclear anhilation. But noise revenge would be interesting to see

I love that phrasing "my thoughts usually go to nuclear anhilation." My favorite thing about the ice cream truck was that it was so... cutesy. And so counter to the ain't-we-so-cool jazz. Heh.
