The plus side of the monitor not working (and having to use the TV instead) -- kitty loves it. He's watching the incredible uncatchable fly --
(what we know as a cursor and/or mouse pointer)
-- with utter fascination now.
This means that he stands in front of the screen, backlit, as he tilts his head to stare. Which means I have to look between his little pointy ears to see the screen.
Of course I move the mouse around until he bats at it. Who would pass on the opportunity?
For once, the whole family gets to enjoy TV. *g*
(Although he likes figure skating, too.)

Date: 2008-11-15 11:11 am (UTC)On numerous occasions, they dashed behind the TV to get to the snooker ball that had just - obviously! - fallen off the screen and must therefore be on the floor behind it. And Strider (see userpic) was once applauded during a cricket Test Match, when she stood up to pat at the moving white things (people) on the screen, and the Australian captain was out next ball. We couldn't persuade her to do it again, though.
