WG has a pressie for me -- the flu!

I'm staying home, drinking juice, and hoping I can cut this off at the pass. But somehow I'm perfectly happy. I guess that's because WG's home too. And even though he's sick, he's here. And that makes me purr.

Ooo! Time to get him more hot tea.

I got the early symptoms, but staying home (so far) seems to have been a good move. Mine don't seem to be worsening. WG's doing much better, but send some well-ful thoughts his way. His work doesn't let him stay home more than three days without a doctor's note, and he has to work out in the cold and damp.

Thank you. WG's doing better. I seem to have avoided all but the very early symptoms (so far). Staying home the moment I started getting sick seems to have been the right move. Now let's hope WG going in to work tomorrow doesn't slow his recovery, eh?

My birthday traditionally starts on my brother's birthday (November 15th) and lasts at least three days until my birthday (November 18th) during which time we are theoretically the same age. This date is often extended through whenever one or the other of us manages to have a party (in this case, this Saturday).

It is a very convenient time for a birthday. Just two weeks after Halloween, and one week before American Thanksgiving, we kick off the holiday season early.
