I know! I didn't want to spoil anything, just in case you didn't get a chance to finish watching. But it was an incredible performance. I saw audience members getting up even before he finished.

Just a couple of month ago, I was worry he might not even make Worlds team. And he had a rotten season. But in retrospect, it was a pretty good season for anyone else.

It was a rotten season. I believe him when he says he was just hoping to put on a good show for the home audience and didn't expect to medal. It's been that kind of season for him. Lose the National title. Win gold at Worlds. What a year.

Oh btw, he might also have a stress fracture in his left foot. Which is probable why he left out the quad.

Yeah, they said his foot is going to be in a boot for a month after this. But it's interesting how he was downplaying the injury before the competition began. Elvis did the same thing before the Olympics about his groin injury.
