Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving.

I was just informed that mom and her roommate were expecting me to do the Thanksgiving turkey. Along with pumpkin pie (crust from scratch) and my cheesecake.

Whut-?

This is going to be one of those weeks, isn't it?

Good thing it's 9am.

We did a division of labor once they discovered the communication error.

And remember the cranberry sauce halfway through dinner.

That is when I would say "guess we're not having turkey or pie then, are we?"

Once they saw that blank look on my face, we started doing a division of labor. I did the pies (as I planned), mom did the turkey and salad, and her roommate did the veggies.

They talked me out of doing the pumpkin pie.
