eHarmony settles lawsuit that it discriminated against gay users.

As part of the settlement, eHarmony will no longer have a separate site for GLBT users, which forced some to pay duplicate fees.

Frankly, I don't like eHarmony. The site won't let free users delete photos or their profiles. As a result the site appears huge but in reality has an extraordinary number of dead accounts. And they keep matching people to those dead accounts, on and on.

It reminds me of that canned laughter on sitcoms. It was recorded in the 1950s. The people laughing died long ago.

I tried eHarmony for three months, and didn't get anywhere. The guys they were matching me with were pretty horrendous. My aunt found her husband there, though, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I think I'll try Match.com next, I hear they work better in a lot of ways.

Match.com freaked me out. I kept getting these creepy guys winking at me. I've had better success with OkCupid, actually, where the fun young guys seem to hang out.
