Have you read Surrogate? it was a SGA big bang story this year. I think the author is Seekergeek.

Seconding the rec (and I pretty much loathe mpreg most of the time). It's a pretty damn good read.

I usually loathe MPreg, too. Enough that I've tried to write one to debunk everything I hate about it (that would be the unfinished "Reunion" series). Actually, I've always wanted to finish that story.

Watch yourself. I hate most genderswitch stories and succumbing to the hey, I'll show how it should be done impulse (and monanotlisa's wiles) is how Ard came into being. You might find yourself equalling Out of Bounds's word count if you aren't careful.

Yeah, for the readers. Those giant fics eat up years of a writer's life. Honestly, you could be doing something totally meaningless and without any productive end all those hours sweating and cursing over a hot keyboard.

Oh yes. Check out Seekergeek's story (recommended by Auburn and Amalthia). It's excellent. Couldn't put it down.
