I have two kitties!

Laid out a new blanket and Junior showed, sniffing and pleased. Then he hopped up and curled into it, laying claim.

I think we have a winner.

Next to me: Callie, curled up in a little ball, purrrring.

Are these brand new kitties you're announcing, or just a declaration of what you have, the same way I might say, with a heavy sigh, "I have four cats (god help me)"?

They're my aunt's cats but they haven't come downstairs to my pad very much. Now they're here. And sleeeeeeping. :D

I have a kitten napping half on my chest and half in my lap at the moment- she looks so serious when she naps stretched out like this. (As opposed to when she naps curled up, with a paw or tail over her nose, when she looks impossibly young and a little silly.)

Aaaand, I just woke her up by correcting a typo. Ah, the struggles she has, living with me.

And, as they could sense about what I'm talking about, one of mine just jumped on my lap and now is seriously watching what I'm typing *laughs*

I saw an adorable SGA crack fic where John and Rodney were two cats ... darn, where was that?

They do! How's your plump little Tiger, and the sweet Grey?

they are both in great health and Tiger is about as stout as ever. :) They are banned from my computer room though because Grey was getting under the couch and somehow leaning up against the fabric underneath which was popping the staples. So until I find a way to keep Grey from getting under the couch she's been banned.

Maybe stitch the fabric to the couch?

Stitching won't help long if she's using the inside of the couch like a scratch post. :(

What a weird place to scratch, at once inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Could she just be sleeping it? And the staples are cheap and easily pulled?

well it's roomier underneath plenty of room for them to sit up. And the staples are cheap!
