No weekends for six months.

I work Saturdays, so as a result I have a split weekend: a day off on Friday, a day off on Sunday.

Except it's like not having a weekend at all. More like brief breaths while you have to keep swimming.

I'm happy to be teaching, and I love tutoring, but today? I'm feeling a little tired.

At my last tech job I worked 4 ten-hour days. So I had three whole days off. That would've been AWESOME had any of them been together. :( :(

yeah, I ended up having to quit that one. I loved it, the work, but they wouldn't change my schedule so *shrug* Still, I learned a lot working there.

Yeah. I've been thinking about looking for another job. I'm worried about the economy, but this one is running me down. The summer hours are tough because in addition to the split weekend, I end up staying at work until 9:30pm Monday and Wednesday night, then I'm at work at 9am the next morning.

oh ouch, yeah...it can't hurt to look. that sort of schedule will wear you down and then you'll be in no shape to get a new job when you need it most
