Do any of you have the space to foster a cat or a kitten? Or a dog or puppy?
These animals are scheduled to be stabbed to death.
Here's what's happening --
Please let me know if you can. Tara's Babies will go pick them up. We just need the space to keep them while we find them homes.

Here's what's happening --
Every day, thousands of dogs and cats are killed in shelters. Today, we have an
opportunity to help!
On Friday before we wake, around 60 dogs and puppies and many cats and kittens are
scheduled to be killed in a heartstick shelter in North Carolina. Heartstick is
a brutal killing method, whereby a needle is stuck straight into the heart of a
fully conscious animal.
Tara's Babies Sanctuary is at absolute maximum capacity. Our only hope to save these
lives is if people open their hearts and homes RIGHT NOW. This means being flexible
and willing to be a foster home until a permanent adoptive home is found. These
homes can be in the East or in Arizona.
Please do not say, "I wish I could, but . . . ." Instead, please look into the eyes
of these beings and remember Jetsunma's words: "Never be afraid to give more than
you think you can." We are asking you if you can give a lost and frightened dog
or cat a life. This is a temporary sacrifice on our part, but it means everything
to them.
Please contact anialycelouise@gmail.com or Kunzang at pureheartspeech@gmail.com
and let us know how you can help. We only have till 5 p.m. Thursday. After that,
it will be too late; the animals will be dead.
Please let me know if you can. Tara's Babies will go pick them up. We just need the space to keep them while we find them homes.

Date: 2010-09-23 05:57 pm (UTC)Right now, I'm monofocused on just getting homes for these guys.
Once they're safely out of there, I'll be more than happy to discuss the absurdity of exaggerating what doesn't need to be exaggerated, and the more skillful presentation of such a request in the future.
