Thanks to Rachel and to Favrielle and to CLS and to [livejournal.com profile] salix_babylon, some old outstanding Betas are (finally) done. Most of you have probably already seen these, but they've only been posted in LJ and ff.net.

Far Too Personal R - Ron/?
"'Student, tall, beater's build...' Okay, maybe not quite beater's build, but he was close enough." Ron Weasley places a personal ad and lies shamelessly about himself and his assets. Unfortunately, his date did the same.

Coming soon... the entire 'Not My Affair' series.

Research paper: 1/2 way done. *continues uphill battle, yes, I wrote a fic for [livejournal.com profile] tboy while I was writing this essay, why do you ask?*

Making cookies tonight! [livejournal.com profile] wildernessguru decided we needed more chocolate chips. I told him that there has to be enough batter-to-cookies to hold them together as I looked doubtfully into the bowl.

They seemed to have worked out though. *munch, munch*

I've made chocolate chip cookies with everything from less than half a cup of chocolate chips to some four cups of chocolate chips (for the same amount of batter) and it always works out. If you want to spoil chocolate chip cookies, you have to work really hard; and if your chocolate chip cookies are made by someone who knows what he or she is doing, so much the better! Enjoy the cookies.

(Hm, I haven't baked cookies in a while; I must remedy that soon.)

Good for you for so much progress on your research paper! And thanks for the link to your work at AT; I hadn't even seen that! *glomps*

Wilderness Guru says: "Four cups? FOUR? No way. You won't have cookies then, you'll have, like, lumps of chocolate."

Convince the doubting Thomas. ;) LOL

Well, it depends on what sort of chocolate you use, because you really don't want more than about a pound of chocolate chips per two and a half cups of flour. You can fit that much into two cups if you use the really tiny chips, and if you use really, really big chocolate chips, a scant four cups is about that. Also, I count three cups of oatmeal as the same as one cup of flour, which may change my measurements slightly.

No, I must've discovered your LJ afterwards.
I've just read the first one three times and am still giggling at their meeting. (and trying to talk my husband into reading it, but that's probably a lost cause).

I do like the way you write Ron.
