I don't know who this Eileen Fisher person is or why she keeps putting her name on my clothes. But she sure has an eye for wonderfully soft fabrics and clean, simple, and elegant shapes.
(Why she'd put her name on clothes in a secondhand store is another question.)

I like the fact that her stores have all the clothing sizes hung alongside one another. A rack of blouses will go: extra-small, small, medium, large, extra-large, 1X, 2X, 3X. They don't stick the large-lady clothes in a ghetto away from all the skinny-girl clothing. It's expensive at the store, but if you know your size, you can find her stuff on eBay at surprisingly low cost (which is how I filled my closet.)
