Atlantis Big Bang: Is Live!

icarusLast year I read the beginning of a lushly visualized, funny, and effortlessly combined SGA/Star Trek Reboot.
Of course John's a Vulcan. Of course he's still trouble. Elizabeth in Spock's role is inspired. I was pulled into this world with its run-down Mars perimeter, faded recruitment posters, fast-paced, high-powered flying,mad_maudlin's snappy one-liners (a pastel planet is "Like Colorado for the colorblind," ha) -- and first rate Rodney tirades.
I counted it easily the best of the 2010 Atlantis Big Bang. (And I was writing for the 2010 Big Bang.)
It didn't get published.
One year later ... she did it. It's finally here. And worth the wait.
