Ron/Sirius is up at FA

Yea verily, wanderingscribe's challenge for Ron/Sirius is now ready for prime time. I said couldn't slash Sirius. Nope. Not even with Remus. Not even with Snape. No can do, he was just to hetero in my book.

Hmmph. Seems like I said that about Ron once. And Ron/Draco in particular.

"What's that?" Ron shouted over the noise. It was long, sleek and black, and purred like a wildcat... it was beautiful. Male-bonding, motorcycles and bad boys. Sirius takes Ron out for a wild ride.

Ron/Draco news: just watched the worst, most poorly thought-out battle scenes in 'Reign of Fire.' I am now being even more anal-retentive in plotting SNAFU. wildernessguru, aka knowledgeable Military Analyst and critic has volunteered to beta-read it. Fuck. Now I'm scared.

Ohh, have you seen The Last Castle with Robert Redford? It's an awesome movie and I think the whole battle plan was excellent. Of course you'd have to see it to understand it. But he's a prisoner, a former Lt. Gen and he's in jail for supposedly being a traitor. I suggest you watch it, even if it's cause it'a good movie.

I have seen The Last Castle, and I was taking mental notes for SNAFU in fact, when wildernessguru ripped it to shreds from a military standpoint.

*grins* Thanks for the idea, really. I swore up and down I could never, ever slash Sirius.

People are liking it, too. Different people are taking the ending in different ways. Some are seeing something in the air, others are saying Ron is clearly too young for Sirius on a hundred levels, others are going -- 'oh, hey, Sirius is sexy here' -- which is most unexpected, since I figured the barfing would have killed that off. ;)
