Anybody seen Michael Fassbender in Shame? Been watching X-Men: First Class on repeat this weekend and ... I want to see more of him.

In other news: I'm collecting cashmere sweaters (they're warm, but light, soft and not scratchy, snugglesome inside and out). My cashmere is collecting cat hair (can only add to the fluffiness).

I've seen quite a few of his films as he was on my radar prior to X-Men:First class. I've seen Shame, I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about it and suspect I won't until it comes out on DVD and I can rewatch it!

re: Cashmere sweaters. Beware cheap "bargain" cashmere--every year, I don't know how many tons of yak hair is sold as "cashmere". (that said, yak hair is actually pretty soft and warm as well, just not with the brand recognition of cashmere.)

Yes! And cashmere blends also are just not the same. The Victoria's Secret "cashmere" is not cashmere at all, I deem. It was thin, nowhere near as soft as the real thing, and pilled quickly.

My rule of thumb now is that if the sweater wasn't originally $100-200 (even you're buying it marked down to $50 on EBay or Bluefly), it's going to disappoint. Also, best to find out the name brands that are known for fine cashmere (Sierra Trading Post will carry many of them). In this case, a brand name makes a big difference.
