When the Deathmatch died...

tinderblast and I cooked up an idea for a different kind of BNF Deathmatch: pitting an authors' own stories against each other.

So this is pretty informal. Anonymous posts aren't counted, neither are votes that don't state some reason (however spurious) for the preference. The selection of the two stories are completely arbitrary, though I do allow write-in votes.

Since technically this is just another way to garner reviews, I don't think anyone's going to object. But I've always been curious about this sort of thing.

On an unrelated note, wildernessguru and I have just realised that, yes, our kitty is getting fat. Ooops

ETA2: It's more fun if we don't slam one or another story. *ouch* I happen to like them both.

I'll call that a write-in vote for A Season In Hell. :)

I preferred After The Flood because ASIH is just too dark for me, I didn't like Harry in it, and the food - er - turned my stomach. But ATF had 'patient best friend' Ron and 'irresponsible and confused' Draco the-awful-guest. There was a strange sense of resolution to it, even though none of them could really tell where they were headed. So that's why I picked that one.
