Ron/Hermione.
Not relationship centric. Someone's complicated plot-bunny that doesn't grab me at all.

Can't I do Hagrid/Buckbeak again?

Oh, it's not even a pairing. They want a particular plot and if Ron's with anyone, he's with Hermione. But they specifically ask that the relationship not be the center of it.

Trust me, I insisted Draco/Ron was impossibility. My Ron (back then) was at best straight!bendable and Draco while plausibly queer (or hedonistically queer) and the two didn't get along. I saidL "they'd have to be forced into it." Ooops.

Okay, they want a story, with either no pairing, or a stale het pairing. But they don't want pairings and sex to be central to the story.

This must be that "plot" thing that Sushi goes on about. I maintain that characters can be developed in bed.

Okay, so you make the story about Ron. Hrrmmm. I'm not very fond of Ron as a character. I suppose you could play up his faults though. Can he be an adult? Can there be wanking? Surely they'll give you something to work with. Good luck.
