Mistress of the darkness in all of us, Cedar writes fascinatingly deep dissections of subjects that ought to be disturbing, but her insight into the characters' minds keeps us riveted. Vote for your favourite cedarlibrarian fic. Remember not to slam one fic over another, but do tell us why you chose the one you did. Oh yes, write-ins - thanks to amanuensis1 - are most certainly accepted.

ETA: New rule. In case this isn't clear, you do not have to have read every fic by a particular author to choose your favourite. We're not picking the best. We're picking our favourites. Thus, if we've only read 'The Palmer Method' then that very likely is our current favourite, isn't it? We are going to be featuring more and more specialized authors (if the management doesn't give this idea up entirely).

Me, I just vote my favourite whether I've read everything or not. Because, uh, there's not a single one of these contests where I've read everything (especially the write-ins). Well. With the exception of my own of course.

Saison d'Etre, mainly because it's the only one that I've read. I feel guilty that I haven't read probably the majority of all of the fics so far in the duelings, but because of time I'm very selective of pairings. But I really enjoyed this fic, so I'll have to make it a point to read the others later.

The Palmer Method. I haven't read the others because I'm semi-selective on my pairings (namely, if Snape isn't one of the pair, I don't read it) However, I read The Palmer Method due to a rec and I *loved* it. Evil Percy, indeed.

My vote. Before The Palmer Method I would have voted for Like The Finest Gold... but Percy's precise, single-minded ambition and coldness has burned itself on my retina. It is an unforgettable fic, and one, like If You Are Prepared, I will never be able to read again.
