Mistress of the darkness in all of us, Cedar writes fascinatingly deep dissections of subjects that ought to be disturbing, but her insight into the characters' minds keeps us riveted. My vote. Before The Palmer Method I would have voted for Like The Finest Gold... but Percy's precise, single-minded ambition and coldness has burned itself on my retina. It is an unforgettable fic, and one, like If You Are Prepared, I will never be able to read again.
