Fresh stories

I was just writing to dkwilliams about fanfic, 'fresh' stories, and what makes a real impact.

I have a challenge for everyone who cares to take it up. There's no time limit. There's no specific subject matter. You can think about this forever, or dash it off tomorrow. We need never hear back about this challenge.

Write a story about a pairing you've never read. It could even be Harry/Draco, so long as you've never read a single Harry/Draco fanfic.

Think about it.

And let's see what happens.

Hey, I'm ready to set up the haloscript for feedback on one of my stories (A Moment of Sin) on the Icarus Site. Er. How do we do that?

Also, I've been setting up the links, so let me know if I've done anything ugly or disorganised or that you don't like. After all, your name's on this thing. There are a few pages I haven't finished. http://www.percyfest.muse-wanted.com/icarus_fiction and that darned Dr Who graphic isn't showing up, I dunno why.

Some of your links work. Check the links and reupload them in their appropriate folders. 0.o I think you made a minor mistake in the LotR fiction page.

yeah ... that's the right code. Please remember to remove the periods i put there so it would appear in the comments page. Remove every single period! (unless it is a part of an address [ie www.samscorel.com])

Oh yes. And those periods as placeholder -- great solution. I've used spaces, but they never quite work the same.

Yes! Image solution! I do that to ... mostly because other browsers don't have that font.. 0.o
