Fresh stories

I was just writing to dkwilliams about fanfic, 'fresh' stories, and what makes a real impact.

I have a challenge for everyone who cares to take it up. There's no time limit. There's no specific subject matter. You can think about this forever, or dash it off tomorrow. We need never hear back about this challenge.

Write a story about a pairing you've never read. It could even be Harry/Draco, so long as you've never read a single Harry/Draco fanfic.

Think about it.

And let's see what happens.

"He had a wand, but it didn't look as if he was going to use it. It stretched out from his loose grip, quivering, and everywhere his eyes turned, the tip of the wand followed.

Don't encourage this one - I am going to get it off my chest and then I'm going back to my rpg. Or, really, ANYTHING else.
