Got the first round of changes on SNAFU

So far, so good. A lot more changes to the latter part, but I expected that.


Lucius: "I've no idea why you were so worried. After all, I played large role." Buffs his nails. "It was quite simple really."

Draco: "Simple? You didn't have to go through everything I did!"

Lucius, sighing heavily: "It is war, Draco. Need I remind you that it is the nature of battle to..."

Percy: "I did it! I did it! I can't believe it, I thought at the last there that --"

Ron, rubbing his eyes: "Percy...."

Lucius, glancing around disdainfully: "Yes, I think that everyone here is in agreement that he, at least, should be hung."


I'm a little stuck on the Ron/Percy/Harry smut. Just... so distracted with SNAFU, wringing my hands and worrying. *zzzzt. zot! sproing!*

No worries on that account, hon. Isolde and I are still working on finishing the Harry/Ron side of it. *grin* Although we've got the last scene pretty much plotted. We just have to finish writing it. (And we're both dying to see how Percy's going to react to it. *bouncesbouncesbounces*)

What I just wrote:

So strange to be doing this, knowing that Harry was his brother's. It almost felt like infidelity.

Percy was no stranger to infidelity. He was disturbed to notice a subtle sense of excitement he'd grown to associate with Lucius. He wasn't turned on by infidelity, was he?

He's learning a lot of unexpected things.

I'm looking forward to it. As is Percy. But this is getting alarming.

[Minor grammatical nit: Men who are killed by suspension are hanged. Men who are hung are well-endowed. I prefer reading about the latter, though -- especially when you write it. :) ]

Just kidding. SNAFU is radically different from any of the other stories in the series. And actually, very different from anything else I've ever written before.

And Percy is hung -- nice to know.

Well of course! It's a Weasley trait.

Minor grammatical nit: Men who are killed by suspension are hanged.

Usually I'm pretty good about grammatical issues, but that has always sounded off to me in the westerns. So it really is 'hanged,' eh? Well, I'll danged.
