Home and Work
Jul. 23rd, 2004 08:30 amBig blow up last night with the
wildernessguru, just pressure build up and the strain of banking the next nine months of my life on a gamble that the US Gov't will be as generous as it was last year. I don't like dangling.
It's been a bit of a come down to be doing temp work again. I love school. One of my teachers called me "insatiably curious" on my portfolio, and that's true. Admin work isn't nearly as challenging or interesting.
WG wanted to cheer me up, so he put in a movie he'd picked up though he wasn't sure what it was about: The House of Sand and Fog.
Yeah. That was cheery. But it did have a really strong moral lesson about desperation and allowing your circumstances make your choices for you, and I decided to change my attitude about things. Because, hey, I didn't want to end up like the end of that movie.
It could happen.
