Motivation, where are you?
Feb. 19th, 2003 11:44 pmI have great story bunnies, plots sketched all the way out, only need the details filled in. I have energy and time. Yet every time I set down to type, I can't get started.
Takes off head. Rattles it. Really can't figure out what's wrong.
But I did write the NC-17 verion of the 'Midnight' chapter from Primer to the Dark Arts for Walking the Plank. Ah... now I have to find if it's actually better than the R version. Anyone wanna vote?
Remember, place filthy, over the top outrageous... or sentive and wonderful... NC-17 fic recommendations here! And be sure to click on the comments from two days. Awesome fics, folks, just awesome.

Date: 2003-02-20 08:20 am (UTC)This week's contribution to the porn drive, which I'm going to pimp in my own journal as well because they are just so damn good, are the Snape/Black fics by Fabula Rasa, available at the restricted section and snitchfiction.net. In-character characters, bits of actual plot, excellent writing, and hot hot hot sex.

Date: 2003-02-22 07:59 pm (UTC)The silver-stuff... hm. I intended for everyone to get the image of Snape struggling with and spilling it on the way out to the clearing. But it is in the subtext and there's no real way to bring that out without messing with the suspense and pacing. While Snape is very impressed himself with his talent for the Dark Arts, the way he loses control of it on the way there, and loses track of Harry, tells the real story. Never believe a man who's bragging. *wink*
