I'll be darned.

The Hat Trick, a story I sweated blood over, that drove me crazy, that I thought was too dark, that I feared my Ron Fic-A-Thon recipient would hate, that turned out to be a story that impressed my father (always a difficult task) has been nominated for a Multifaceted Award in the category of Best Ron Fic.

*blinks* I needed good news right about now.

That doesn't surprise me. It's a very clever story (I had to really keep my brain turned on, to follow it) and it deserves the award itself, in addition to a nomination!

Oh, it's not going to win. It's neither very well known nor popular, and many people get frustrated at the ending. But it was a big surprise (and pleasure) to see it nominated.
