More from the Virgin!challenge
May. 11th, 2006 03:36 pmMore from the
sga_flashfic virgin challenge. This is nice steamy PWP, and I like the idea of John keeping such an extraordinary secret.

John takes a poll. "What if you were changed into a woman? What would you do?"
I'm hungry for more of these.
"I hate group projects" revisited
Do any of you gamble? I'm taking bets.
The history:
- We had one initial group meeting.
- I postponed one Thursday meeting to Saturday (midterms, cancer in the family).
- She no-showed on Saturday due to an emergency (key locked in a theatre). I was left standing in the rain, though that was largely WG's fault. We postponed that meeting to Tuesday.
- Tuesday she asked if we could postpone to Thursday.
- I was 15 minutes late Thursday.
Received an email from her that she was "at the meeting place now and I can't wait any longer."
Trouble is, the email was an obvious fake sent three hours after the time she was claiming she was writing. Unbelievable. The date stamp is a field that will update to the time you sent it, you can't copy and paste a fake one into an email. One: the field will update; the time on her "4:50pm" email was 7:49pm. Two: not every email program uses the same type of date stamp; my gmail program doesn't even use that format.
I've lost all respect for her and her excuses. But we still have a presentation to do, and all I care about is that she comes through.
- She postponed our meeting to Tuesday.
- I sent her an email saying "yes, Tuesday, great" but we clearly have an administrative problem since we've both missed meetings, let's get together on class break Tuesday to work it out. Is the location a problem? In the interim, let's work on our presentations separately and paste them together later.
- Tuesday she was not in class. I got an email (in plenty of time before our meeting) saying that her personal life was a mess. She postponed to Thursday.
Here's the bet: Today's Thursday, but oh shit, she wasn't in class today. Our meeting is in half an hour.
So a show of hands.
Who thinks she'll be here?
Who thinks I'm wasting my time waiting?
Place your odds folks.
